Exchange 2010 Error: "Property [PreviousDatabase] is pointing to the Deleted Objects container"

I recently came across the following error when trying to move a mailbox from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013:

MSExchange ADAccess Event ID 2937

Process mmc.exe (PID=3300). Object [CN=OldUser,OU=Inactive Accounts,DC=exchangeitup,DC=com]. Property [PreviousDatabase] is set to value [exchangeitup.com/Configuration/Deleted Objects/DB10 DEL:c664f6ea-77ae-44ff-b8c8-2e26bc49a5f7], it is pointing to the Deleted Objects container in Active Directory. This property should be fixed as soon as possible.

The problem occurred when the mailbox was last moved, and the msExchPreviousHomeMDB attribute on the account was populated with the Database it was moved from.

The fix is simple:

In Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC), go to View, and select Advanced Features.

Go to the OU that the user is located in, right-click the account, and select Properties.

Click the Attribute Editor Tab, and double-click msExchPreviousHomeMDB.

Click the Clear button.

Now try to move the mailbox.

I still had problems moving the mailbox, but this time on the Exchange 2013 side.

I was now getting the following error:

RemotePermanentException: Active Directory property 'homeMDB' is not writeable on recipient 'exchangeitup.com/Inactive Accounts/OldUser'

Follow this post to fix the issue.
